Adventure Tours

Behind-the-scenes tours put you in the shoes of Riverbanks Zoo’s animal keepers! All ages are invited to take a walk into the keeper's area and get a behind-the-scenes look into the wonderful world of animal care and training. Meet a penguin. Encounter a reptile. Tour the animal hospital. Adventure Tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays only. Most tours can accommodate 1-8 participants; the Africa barn tour can accommodate 1-20 participants.
