Mt. Pleasant Geocaching. Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. People who enjoy geocaching come from all age groups and have a strong sense of community and support for the environment. What you need: • GPS • Coordinates. This activity is free to the public. Where are the caches? Currently the town of Mount Pleasant has three geocaches. • Town of Mount Pleasant – Waterfront Park Geocache • Town of Mount Pleasant – Patriots Point Geocache • Town of Mount Pleasant – Kearns Park Geocache.
