Marine Life in 4-D at the South Carolina Aquarium The South Carolina Aquarium is unveiling some exciting new attractions this year, including a 4 dimensional experience. The 4-D, 52 seat theatre, is expected to open in April and show educational films that create not only a visual experience but a physical experience as well. The theatre will be equipped with interactive chairs that produce sensory effects including water, vibrations, and a variety of scents. The first film expected to be shown is Planet Earth: Shallow Seas, a condensed version of the acclaimed television series. The aquarium will also introduce 5 new sharks to their tank, raising their total to 10. Make sure to stop soon and let the aquarium introduce their new albino alligator, one of only 50 in the world, in the swamp exhibit. www.scaquarium.org
