Ghosts and Legends of Columbia

Join us on the Ghosts and Legends of Columbia walking tour for an intriguing, sometimes chilling, 90-minute encounter with the region's restless spirit world. Our fully narrated tour is filled with stories from Columbia's spectral past and enduring folklore tradition. We will saunter among monuments on the beautiful South Carolina State House grounds, visit historic Trinity Episcopal Cathedral and its adjoining graveyard, pause in the shadow of the Town Theater - the oldest of its kind in America - and skim the northern fringe of the University of South Carolina campus. With the variety of sites comes a variety of stories involving ghosts, legends, and the bizarre. Our guides will mingle tales from the supernatural with eerie anecdotal history. All have extensive stage and storytelling experience. Whether or not you believe in ghosts, this tour is sure to entertain! Admission is $15.00. Starts at 8pm until 9:30pm. SC State Capitol Building on the corner of Gervais and Main Streets in downtown Columbia.
