Twelfth Night: An Italian Festival

Celebrate the New Year with a performance that draws on a popular festival of another era. In Medieval and Renaissance Europe, the twelfth night following Christmas marked the culmination of the holiday season. Hear instrumental and vocal Italian music composed by Frescobaldi, Merula, Monteverdi and others performed on instruments of the period. 3pm. Free with Admission at the Columbia Museum of Art located in downtown Columbia on the corner of Main and Hampton Street.
