Celebrate the Faces of Sandhills Art Gala

The Sandhills School Art Gala, to be held on Friday, March 9, 2006 from 6:00-9:00 pm, is a business-attire party with wine, beer, and heavy hors d’oeuvres. We invite artists with work of all mediums to sell their pieces at the school that evening. We have wonderful wall space at the school, and we convert it into a gallery so that each piece is well displayed. The artists donate a portion of their proceeds to Sandhills. Last year 35 artists participated and sold paintings, jewelry, small furniture, scarves, and ceramics. Sandhills School is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization that provides unique educational programs that foster the intellectual development of average to above-average students with diagnosed learning disabilities. Sandhills promotes the development of individual self and the joy of learning that leads students to become lifelong learners. Our children are exceptionally smart and innovative thinkers, and Sandhills is an environment that equips them to be successful.
