Daniel Island Schools

Daniel Island is a master-planned community located within the City of Charleston and within Berkeley County. It is north of the downtown area and is reached by I-526, Charleston's circular bypass. The community is served by Berkeley County School District, with an elementary/middle school onsite, Daniel Island School, serving kindergarten through 8th grade.  Older children attend Hanahan High School or the parochial high school in the Charleston area which is located on Daniel Island, Bishop England High School.
